Tom is Norfolk FWAG's latest Harper Adams placement student. Living on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in the rural Waveney valley, Tom has developed a huge interest in wildlife and conservation from a young age, and was fortunate enough be brought up surrounded by agriculture, wildlife and country sports.
After completing his GCSE’s, Tom studied countryside management at Brackenhurst College before moving to Harper Adams to study BSc Environmental land Management. In Tom's spare time he enjoys clay pigeon shooting, hiking, deer management and working on the farm.
During Tom's time at Harper Adams, he has continued his passion for sporting clay pigeon shooting and in his second year was appointed team captain for the university. Tom believes that now is a hugely important time for the environmental land management sector because of the huge contemporary changes going on and is excited to further his knowledge during his time at NFWAG.
