A Founder Trustee and Company Secretary of Norfolk FWAG when it was incorporated in December 2011. At that time, he was the Chief Executive of Anglia Farmers, a £260m agricultural input supply co-operative which he helped establish in 2002 sourcing about 10% of UK farm inputs and Norfolk FWAG was then located in the AF Offices. He retired as CEO of Anglia Farmers in June 2017. His former career also encompassed Board roles at British Sugar plc, Dengie Crops and Dalgety Agriculture.
He is now Chairman and Company Secretary of Norfolk FWAG, and also a Director of the Food Enterprise Park which is developing major processing and support facilities for the agrifood supply chain.
He is a past trustee of Harper Adams University Development Trust, Council Member of Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association and a member of the Regional AgriFood Industrial Council.
He was awarded the MBE in 2016 for Services to Agriculture, the RNAA Timothy Colman Prize in 2017 and awarded Fellowship of Royal Agricultural Societies in 2019.
